  As a group, we took an online teaching video and for this teaching, we prepared some pictures from Prezi for our activity. This activity is for the 5th graders and for the Countries unit.                                             It is a session from our Guess the Countries activity. We tried to guess the countries with the clues which were given to us. Have fun!

What is Lumi? First of all, I would love to give information about Lumi before introducing our activity. With Lumi you can create, edit and view interactive HTML elements (H5P packages) in your desktop environment. You can choose from over 40 content types (templates), which include interactive videos and all common quiz types such as fill-in-the-blanks, multiple choice questions. You don't need any programming knowledge to work with Lumi!   Lumi/Interactive Video We wanted to prepare an interactive activity with the song we chose for practicing conditionals. After listening to the lyrics, in order to check whether they understand what they are listening to, they have to choose the sentence they heard right after listening. Selecting and Modifying/Adapting Digital Materials We think that the material we found is pretty suitable for the proficiency level of our students. It has subtitles synced with the video, so they can watch it without zoning out. Plus, our students will genuinely want to watch the video, and the reason why is that it is a very informative yet catchy topic. To engage our students, we can ask questions that stimulate and encourage them to speak. We can ask them to state the reasoning behind their answers to increase their participation.   In today's Open&Distance Learning lesson, we noted what the lesson contributed to us by using the Exit ticket. For example, the most important was Slack, which I had not heard of before.
