Meet the Best Writing Mistake Detecting Program Ever: Grammarly

MEET THE BEST WRITING MISTAKE DETECTING PROGRAM EVER: GRAMMARLY

In today's post, I will give you information about an application of Grammarly that corrects grammar, spelling, punctuation mistakes in essays, which is the nightmare of students. If you are sick of finding your mistakes hours and hours, Grammarly is the best for you!

WHAT IS GRAMMARLY?

Grammarly is a free online English spelling checker and a sentence correction program. It is a much more useful application than I expected, which encourages people to write in English and detects simple mistakes quickly. It's like using an automated editor

WHAT GRAMMARLY DO?

Suggests alternative words instead of common words in the sample text and finds basic grammatical mistakes.

In the simplest term, it knows the words you use frequently in everyday life but you doubt spelling. The app also says you “probably wanted to say that, use this sentence or word instead.

It also corrects spelling and punctuation. When you don't put a comma or other punctuation, the app removes unnecessary punctuation. Or when you use the wrong punctuation; the app also gives suggestions to use the correct one.

Grammarly gives a chance to see the overall score, adjusting goals, correctness and clarity, and engagement level.

The app spots an unnecessarily wordy sentence or only word.

While editing an essay or post you wrote with Grammarly, you can also see word and sentence numbers, average reading time, and speaking time.

TIPS/ SUGGESTONS

You can both install on your phone and your computer.

You can install it in a popular browser like Chrome, use it via the browser or download it to your phone and use it there.

You can save and download your essays, files so you can use them later.

You can adjust a goal for more accurate texts. So, Grammarly doesn't just help correct spelling rules. There is a tab named “Goals” on the screen that opens when you press the Grammarly logo in the text box.

You can choose your purpose in writing the text, what kind of audience you want to hit, whether you want to use an official language.

LIMITATIONS ON GRAMMARLY

Although it is a free version of the app, there is also a premium option.

There is engagement (it helps you make your writing more interesting) and delivery options (it helps you make the right impression) on Grammarly but you can’t use them if you have not a Premium version of the web too

                                                                •••

This app is like using an automated editor. You can miss the things in your essay, but Grammarly can catch those. It helps to prepare English texts following the spelling rules and in a way that will not bore the reader. Thanks to this web tool, writing essays will no longer be the nightmare of students! Every student (especially ELT students) should try this spectacular app. I hope you find my post beneficial!

After listening to the lyrics, in order to check whether they understand what they are listening to, they have to choose the sentence they heard right after listening. It's appropriate for 6th graders and pre-intermediate learners. we chose 'If clause' as a grammar topic. https://app.lumi.education/content/642427aec618827fd86969ea
