What is VoiceThread?

It is a live audio recording and comment collecting tool. Records as Text and Sound.

VoiceThread is a common multimedia slide show that allows students to comment on the text, video, and audio files related to images, documents, and videos. Teachers can set up groups and classes, make moderate comments, embed them in blogs, and export them to audio files. It is an easy way to differentiate teaching while offering engaging options to “show” learning, participate in the conversation, and think clearly and critically about the content.

How to Use VoiceThread?

You can begin creating a new VoiceThread from any VoiceThread page by clicking on the “Create” button at the top.

Click on “Add Media,” select “My Computer,” and then choose your files.

AddMedia

Click on the postcard icon at the bottom of the page.

Click on the “+” button.

Click on the file upload button on the right.

The file will process, and as soon as that is complete, you’ll see the slide on the page.
